Community Trip to Israel

We are excited to announce that Chabad of Sierra Vista is now opening the opportunity to join a Community Trip to Israel in October 2026. This meaningful journey will blend inspiration, history, culture, and connection as we experience Israel as a community.

Trip Status & Participation

• A minimum of 8 participants is required for the trip to move forward.

• By submitting this form, you are registering to participate in the trip.

Costs & Payment Structure

• Deposit: A $500 deposit per person is required to reserve your spot.

The deposit is fully refundable if canceled at least 90 days prior to the trip. After that time, $250 of the deposit becomes non-refundable.

The cost of the trip is $4,950, NOT including airfare to Israel. The remaining balance must be paid in full by August 23rd. If we receive at least 15 reservations, the total trip cost will be reduced by $450 per person.

We will notify participants by July 4 whether the trip will be moving forward based on reservation commitments, with final confirmation provided 45 days prior to departure.

• Single Occupancy Supplement for Accommodations: Participants requesting single occupancy will incur an additional charge of $985.

This reflects the cost of occupying a private hotel room, rather than sharing accommodations.

• Tipping: Estimated at $80–$130 per person, depending on the final group size. Gratuities will be evenly divided between the tour guide and bus driver.

ITINERARY FOR THE TRIP

Days 1–2: Arrival in Israel, Northern Israel & Galilee
(Mystical City of Tzfat, Sea of Galilee, meeting local residents, scenic experiences)
Hotel: Kibbutz Lavi Hotel – Galilee

Day 3: Golan Heights → Jerusalem
(Ancient Synagogue at Um El Kanatir, Kfar Chabad, Historic sites, winery visit, arrival in Jerusalem and spectacular lookout from Mt Scopus)
Hotel: Prima Kings Hotel – Jerusalem

Days 4–6: Jerusalem & Shabbat
(City of David, volunteering, Hevron, Shabbat at the Kotel)

Optional activities during free time on Shabbat may include:
Israel Museum, Western Wall,Via Dolorosa, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

Hotel: Prima Kings Hotel – Jerusalem

Day 7: Judean Desert
(Masada, Dead Sea, Ein Gedi, Genesis Land experience)
Hotel: Prima Kings Hotel – Jerusalem

Day 8: Southern Israel & Departure
(Gaza border communities, memorial visits, IDF encounters, IDF BBQ, Nova Music Festival, return flight)

Please note: This itinerary is a general outline and is subject to change.

Insurance:
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase comprehensive trip cancellation and supplemental medical insurance; for maximum coverage, it is recommended to purchase insurance within 21 days of your first payment.

Passport, Visa & Documentation:
Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry to Israel, and travelers from visa-exempt countries are required to obtain an ETA-IL prior to travel; Israeli citizens (including dual citizens) may be subject to VAT charges, which will be billed accordingly.

Media Release:
By participating in this trip, you grant permission for photographs and videos taken during the program to be used for promotional and marketing purposes.

Responsibility & Tour Conditions:
The tour operator acts solely as an agent for service providers and reserves the right to make necessary itinerary or accommodation adjustments, decline participation, or substitute services of comparable quality when required.
